Ableton Live is één van de meest toonaangevende muziekproductieprogramma’s voor het maken van elektronische muziek, zowel live als in de studio. Met een intuïtieve interface, een uitgebreide collectie aan instrumenten, samples en een hele batterij aan effecten, is Ableton Live het must-use softwarepakket voor elke muziekproducer.

Niet voor niets is het programma dé workstation-of-choice van o.a. Daft Punk, Flying

Lotus, Bonobo, Diplo, Jon Hopkins, Paul Kalkbrenner, Soulwax en Oscar & The Wolf.

Programma

Tijdens deze cursus zoomen we in op de verschillende functies en mogelijkheden van Ableton Live aan de hand van een bestaande track. Je krijgt les van een doorwinterde Ableton Certified Trainer / producer in een professionele omgeving. Aan het einde van de cursus ben je in staat om je eigen tracks te maken.

Pascal Oorts: Ableton Certified Trainer / Music Producer / Mixing Engineer / Songwriter

Pascal Oorts is a successful music producer, songwriter and Ableton Certified Trainer. Pascal runs a music production studio, called Tapelab in Antwerp, Belgium. He has a strong pop sensibility and passion for helping artists craft signature songs that make an impact.

With his background as the synth wizard for Belgian band Mintzkov, he is an expert in multiple aspects of the industry. As a professional musician, mixing engineer and producer, he knows what it takes for a song to cut through the noise in a highly saturated music landscape. Pascal has an impressive list of releases with a variety of international artists including Chackie Jam (Belgium), Monelise (UK), and Kumi Koda (Japan). These releases not only reflect his infectious songwriting and production approach, but are also commercially successful. Between them, these artists have amassed millions of Spotify streams and YouTube views, as well as winning radio contests. We can safely say that Pascal's goal is to help artists succeed and elevate their career. To enable this, he has developed his own signature formula for crafting a hit song. In addition, Oorts is now taking enrolments for his one-of-a-kind Ableton Live and Pop Music production courses.
